Chapter Objectives

To cooperate in the formulation of standards for the safe installation and use of electrical materials, devices and appliances

To promote the uniform undertanding and application of the National Electrical Code and other electrical codes

To promote cooperation between inspectors, the electrical industry and the public

To collect and disseminate information relative to the safe use of electricity

To represent the Electrical Inspectors in all matters which are dealt with nationally and internationally by the electrical industry

To cooperate with other national and international organizations in furthering the development of the electrical industry
Oregon Chapter Meeting
January 18th: 4 Hours Washington Electrical Rules (WAC) & 4 Hours Oregon Rule and Law
The event held on January 18th will include the following hybrid (Online and In Person) class presentations:
January 18th Saturday:
(4 Hours) Washington Electrical Rules (WAC)
(4 Hours) Oregon Rule and Law
The classes will be instructed by James Imlah and Wendell Whistler. The classes are presented by the IAEI Oregon Chapter. The classes will take place in person at The Holden Industrial Technology Center at Clackamas Community College Room 212 in Oregon City, OR. The classes will also be available Online/remotely. Up to 8 hours of Code Change continuing education credits will be issued to attendees with licenses in Oregon or Washington depending on selected class attendance.
Registration for attendance will be open until the day of the event. Walk-ins are welcome but early registration is appreciated as seats are limited.
Lunch will not be provided between classes.
